This lemon Limoncello Martini tastes exactly like a Lemon Drop Martini – sweet, tangy, and refreshing!! If you are looking for a refreshing spring or summer time cocktail, this lemon Limoncello martini will be perfect!

There were fresh lemons from a friend’s backyard), a bottle of Limoncello and of course there is always vodka. Thought of sprucing up the lazy weekday night by mixing these up into Lemon-Limoncello Martinis… It’s a mix of sweet and tangy and it’s pretty refreshing as cocktails go.
These Lemon-Limoncello Martinis have a lovely yellow hue to it that, made me happy just by looking at it. Here is the recipe to make this citrus sweet martinis which are nothing but an alcoholic lemonade.

SO, WHAT IS LIMONCELLO?
Limoncello is an Italian liqueur with a very prominent sweet and citrusy taste.
In Italy, Limoncello is enjoyed straight out of a shot glass or cordial glass before dinner as an aperitif or after dinner as a digetif.
If you are going to enjoy the limoncello as a shot, then have it chilled. Its delicious.

I love anything lemon. I’ve never had a martini but I love about anything citrus flavored. Reminds me of summer which is almost here!! Refreshing drinks for summer is a must!
