Rose Cardamom Shrikhand Recipe

This mouth-watering no-cook Rose Cardamom Shrikhand recipe is so easy to prepare!! Made with thick Greek yogurt, powdered sugar, and flavored with cardamom and a hint of rose water, this creamy and utterly delicious sweetened yogurt recipe can be enjoyed as a sweet frozen treat any time of the year!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Cups Full fat Greek Yogurt
  • 1 and 1/2 Cups Granulated White Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1 Tsp Rose Water
  • 1 Tbsp Edible rose petals
  • 1 Tbsp Milk/Cream

Instructions
 

STRAIN THE YOGURT

  • Line a large colander with cheesecloth, overlapping them so they cover the sides.
  • Place the colander inside a large bowl.
  • Add yogurt into the colander and let drain in the refrigerator for about 4 or 5 hours.

MAKE ROSE-CARDAMOM SRIKHAND

  • Finely grind cardamom seeds.
  • Transfer strained yogurt to a large bowl and mix in rose water, cardamom, and sugar

CHILL

  • Chill at least 2 hours and up to 8 hours before serving.
